At the heart of STEMAR’s mission lies a simple but powerful truth: lasting change begins with teachers. With this belief, STEMAR has launched comprehensive new training programs for educators across Armenia, focusing on practical skills, innovative teaching methods, and the integration of real-world STEM applications into the classroom. These trainings are not just about lessons — they are about building capacity, confidence, and a long-term foundation for generations of students to come.
Behind every inspired student stands a teacher who once ignited their curiosity. At STEMAR, we believe that empowering teachers is the most impactful way to shape the future of education — and, ultimately, the future of our society. That belief is now becoming reality as we launch a new series of teacher training programs designed to equip educators with the tools, skills, and confidence they need to bring STEM to life in classrooms across Armenia.
These training sessions are far more than workshops. They are a strategic investment in long-term impact. By empowering teachers with practical knowledge, innovative methodologies, and hands-on experience, we ensure that STEM education does not stop with a single generation of students. Instead, each trained educator becomes a multiplier — reaching hundreds of young minds over the years, inspiring curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity far beyond the walls of a single classroom.
The training modules are designed with real-world relevance in mind. They focus on:
- Integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into comprehensive learning experiences.
- Using project-based and inquiry-driven approaches to make learning engaging and meaningful.
- Developing skills in critical thinking, experimentation, and collaboration, essential for the 21st century.
Participants gain hands-on experience with educational kits, learn how to guide students through the program and engineering challenges, and explore strategies to foster innovation and teamwork among their students.
But perhaps most importantly, these trainings create a community of educators, who are passionate, motivated to support and inspire one another, sharing best practices and innovative ideas. Together, they are building the foundation for a stronger, more future-ready education system in Armenia.
