Education is one of the key dependencies in advancing Armenia towards becoming a technological and science-driven country. High quality STEM education is crucial for the advancement of the nation and the economy. STEM occupations are anticipated to increase by 17% over the next decade1, which is much higher than the average for all other occupations. STEM education is crucial starting from primary school as it helps students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. STEM subjects teach how to think logically, analyse data, and solve complex problems. These skills are essential for success in any field, not just in STEM fields. 

To identify the current state, key opportunities, and challenges of STEM education in Armenia, BSC Business Support Center was contracted by STEMAR to conduct research and analysis of the field.
