The STEMAR program continues its mission to build a sustainable, high-impact STEM education ecosystem in Armenia, welcoming eight new schools from Lori, Shirak, Kotayk, and Ararat regions into its growing network.
STEMAR, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MoESCS) and the National Center for Education Development and Innovation (NCEDI), continues to scale its comprehensive STEM education model to regional schools across Armenia. This year, eight new schools joined the initiative — five from Lori with engineering kits sponsored by AraratBank, one from Shirak inspired by STEM Expo 2025, one from Kotayk through an enthusiastic principal’s application, and one from Ararat motivated by the success of a nearby high school. This expansion is a powerful testament to the dedication of teachers, the creativity of students, and the collective belief in the transformative progress of STEM education in Armenia.
STEMAR is proud to announce the expansion of its innovative STEM education program to eight new schools across Armenia, marking another important milestone in the nationwide effort to provide structured, high-quality STEM learning opportunities to students in every region. Implemented in close collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MoESCS) and the National Center for Education Development and Innovation (NCEDI), STEMAR’s mission is to establish a sustainable and comprehensive model of STEM education that empowers both teachers and students to think critically, solve real-world challenges, and shape the future with innovation.
This latest wave of expansion highlights the growing momentum behind the program. Five schools from the Lori region have joined the initiative with engineering kits generously sponsored by AraratBank, reinforcing the crucial role of private sector support in advancing educational innovation. Additionally, one school from the Shirak region, whose teachers actively participated in STEM Expo 2025, was inspired by the program’s impact and eagerly became part of the network. Another school from Kotayk joined thanks to the proactive leadership of its principal and STEM teachers, while a school from Ararat was motivated by the impressive results and transformative experiences of a neighboring high school already participating in STEMAR.
Each of these schools represents more than just a number. They are new centers of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. They embody the shared vision of teachers who dedicate their time and energy to integrating innovative teaching practices, and of students whose enthusiasm and talent drive the program’s success. Their collective participation reflects a broader national belief: that investing in STEM education today will define Armenia’s future competitiveness and progress.
The STEMAR team extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers, whose passion for education continues to inspire students to explore science and technology with confidence, and to all the students, whose projects and discoveries bring the program’s vision to life.
Most importantly, we thank everyone who believes in the transformative power of this program and its mission to create a brighter, innovation-driven future for Armenia.
With every new school that joins, STEMAR strengthens its impact and deepens its commitment to building a sustainable STEM education ecosystem — one that connects classrooms with real-world challenges, fosters innovation, and equips the next generation with the skills to shape tomorrow.
